U.S. 30 Clatskanie River Bridge Repairs

We're repairing the exposed bridge footings.

Single lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.

Construction Impacts

You can expect:

Construction noise and delays.
Lane closures with flaggers controlling traffic as needed.
Most of the construction to be under the bridge.
Sidewalk closures with pedestrian detours as needed.

Construction Activities

We're placing rocks along the bridge footings.

Visit TripCheck for the most current traffic information.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

About

Enlarged project map The Clatskanie River Bridge is on U.S. 30 in Clatskanie. Several of the bridge footings, or foundation supports, are exposed due to the river washing soil away, also known as erosion.

To help stop further erosion, we're placing large rocks along the footings of the bridge. This will protect the bridge and help keep it safe for years to come.
