About

​This project will upgrade curb ramps in Wallowa and Lostine to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Project elements include:
Enlarged project map.Wallowa:
  • ​Construct ADA curb ramps.
  • Install flashing beacons at South Clairmont Street between the Wallowa High School and parking lot entrance.
  • Bike lane striping on south side of OR 82 from Douglas Street to South Holmes Street.
  • Realign intersection of OR 82, South Holmes Street, Whiskey Creek Road and North Ellen Street.
  • Create cul-de-sac at North Ellen Street and OR 82.

  • Construct ADA curb ramps.

  • ​Wallowa: First Street through town - from North Madison Street, milepost 46.8, to South Wynema Street, milepost 47.6.
  • Lostine: from Roswell Street, milepost 54.7, to Elizabeth Street, milepost 55.0.

Cost and Funding

​The project is estimated to cost $24 million.
