​Planning for this project began July 2024 with final concepts expected August 2025.

About

This is a joint planning project between the City of Bend, Oregon Department of Transportation, and the BNSF Railroad. ​This project is focused on improving safety and bicycle/pedestrian connectivity along the Revere Avenue Corridor, including the Revere Avenue rail crossing. One primary goal of the project is to improve multi-modal safety and operations at the rail crossing in a way that is compatible with the City's multi-modal corridor improvements. ​

The project limits for the study are the intersection of Revere Avenue and Wall Street to Revere Avenue and 4th Street.

Cost and Funding

Project Planning Budget: $500,000 (ODOT Rail Safety Funds)​

Construction for this project is not currently funded. Partne​​​​r Entities (ODOT, City of Bend) will seek funding for construction as opportunities are made available. ​
