About

Enlarged Project Area MapThe Harrisburg Bridge over the Willamette River has railing that needs to be replaced.

This project includes:

  • New railing that has three steel tubes mounted on posts, making it taller than the current railing.

  • New treatments at the ends of the railing that will reduce injuries and damage to the bridge in the event of a crash.

The new railing will make the area safer for drivers by slowing down crashes and helping prevent serious injuries and damages.

We're planning to build and will have a better idea about the schedule and construction cost as we get further into design.
