About

email alerts iconWe’re updating the 2005 Tillamook County Transportation System Plan (TSP). A TSP is a long-range planning document, shaped by community input, that describes the county's transportation system and details projects, programs and policies to meet its transportation needs now and in the future.

The Tillamook County TSP will consider traffic congestion, traffic control solutions, transportation safety and other considerations for the transportation network.

The key questions the TSP planning process will answer are:

  • What do we have now?
  • What do we need?
  • What will we need in the future?
  • How will we fund our projects?
  • What should we do first?
Objectives and benefits:
  • A multimodal TSP blending the transportation system needs, vision and opportunities of the county’s unincorporated communities and the areas in between.
  • A community engagement program that efficiently uses the standing Community Planning Advisory Committees and broader public outreach for effective engagement.
  • A TSP that considers peak seasonal demand and impacts of extreme weather events on alternative routes and continuity of emergency services provision.
  • A funding and implementation plan emphasizing infrastructure resiliency.

A successful TSP is as unique as the community, so stay informed about upcoming public input opportunities by signing up for email updates
