AmeriCorps Formula Grant Opportunities

As the AmeriCorps State Service Commission in Oregon, the OregonServes Commission (OSC) administers state AmeriCorps Program Grants. The AmeriCorps Formula Funding Grant Opportunity is funded through OSC’s AmeriCorps State Formula Funding Allocation and provides grant funding for two types of AmeriCorps program models:
(i) Formula Cost-Reimbursement Grants and
(ii) Formula Fixed Amount Grants.

These grants are awarded to organizations that propose to place AmeriCorps members in service solely within Oregon.

2026-27 Formula Grant | AmeriCorps Formula grants are awarded to eligible organizations that engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions to strengthen communities.

2026-2027 Formula Application Important Dates

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!

1. The new application due date is May 4th

2. You will no longer be submitting through eGrants, and will instead be submitting through a Microsoft Form. We are developing it now and will get it posted to the website by March 27th.

3. For now, STOP working on applications in eGrants and continue drafting your applications in Word and/or Excel until the final templates are posted

May 4th | All 2026-2027 Formula applications due

Mid- to late June | OregonServes submits commission-approved applications to AmeriCorps State & National for final funding approval

August 1st-15th** | Estimated Notice of Award

**Based on AmeriCorps' current estimation of 6-8 weeks for review and award from earliest-allowed commission submission date (June 13th). May be subject to change. Applicants should plan program start dates accordingly.

Note: Failure to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply Form will lead to ineligibility to submit a full application. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Application materials and instructions are made available from documents provided by AmeriCorps. If AmeriCorps makes updates to their application materials, OregonServes will update and repost our documents. Applicants must submit applications electronically via eGrants, AmeriCorps’ web-based system. Applicants are required to submit additional documents by the application submission deadline. Additional documents must be emailed to oregon.serves@hecc.oregon.gov.
