Come Aboard! Be a Change Agent
Marine deputy greeting a young boater wearing a life jacket

Images make an impression. They influence behavior and help guide our choices. Images can also be powerful safety messengers. Join forces with us to help normalize life jacket wear! By connecting with visitors and new boaters through advertising and marketing, we can change behavior. Sign the letter of commitment to show images of people wearing life jackets. Life jackets come in all kinds of styles, are comfortable, don't restrict movement, and are made out of breathable material.

You're invited to join the movement and be a partner in safety:
  • boating industry (manufacturers, dealers, foundations)
  • boat rental businesses
  • boating access facility owners
  • travel and tourism industry
  • boating clubs
  • non-profit groups
  • boating safety educators
  • marine law enforcement
  • outfitter guides and charters
  • community and aquatic centers
Let's work together to normalize life jacket wear and improve water recreation safety in Oregon!
