Promoter Licensing

To become a licensed promoter, and maintain a promoter’s license in Oregon, the requirements in Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) Chapter 463 and Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) Chapter 230 must be met.

The law states a person may not act as a promoter of unarmed combat sports or entertainment wrestling until the person has been licensed pursuant to the requirements of ORS Chapter 463.

Licenses for promoters are issued and renewed on an annual basis.

For an Oregon license, the following documentation must be submitted and approved:
  • Promoter Application
  • Personal Disclosure
  • Fee Schedule
  • Surety Bond Affidavit
  • Wrestling Promoter Affidavit (Entertainment Wrestling only)
The documents or laws may be different for different sports. Take a look under your sport and learn more.
