2026 Funding Cycle
Thank you for your interest in the Oregon Water Resources Department’s Feasibility Study Grant program.
At this time, OWRD is not planning to open a 2025-2026 grant cycle for Feasibility Study Grants. We understand this may impact planning efforts for potential applicants and appreciate your understanding as we navigate funding constraints. Updates on future funding cycles will be posted here and shared through our email list.
If you have questions or would like support in preparing for a future cycle, please contact the Grants Analyst.
2025 Funding Cycle
In September 2025, the Oregon Water Resources Commission awarded $1,039,504 in grants to fund five project study proposals for the 2025 cycle of Feasibility Study Grants.
Feasibility Study Grants fund qualifying costs of studies to evaluate the feasibility of developing water conservation, reuse, and storage projects. This competitive funding opportunity helps individuals and communities investigate whether a project is worth pursuing. Grants require a 25% cost match and are offered on an annual basis with applications due in the spring. Any local government, Indian tribe, or person may apply for funding.
