Are you passionate about health care and interested in becoming a member of Universal Health Plan Governance Board? The board is charged with developing a comprehensive plan to finance and administer a universal health plan in Oregon. Gov. Tina Kotek and the board are seeking qualified candidates to fill a health care position on the board.
We invite you to apply if you:
- Are currently working or have worked in health care in a clinical, administrative, or business capacity
- Support the development of a comprehensive plan to finance and administer a universal health plan that is responsive to the needs of the state and to the expectations of Oregon residents, as outlined in Senate Bill (SB) 1089
- Support the values and principles expressed in SB 1089
This position would complete the term of a recently vacant health care seat through Jan. 1, 2029, and would be eligible for appointment to a second term. Board members are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Oregon Senate. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and must be received by June 20, 2025.
