The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its annual workshop and regular monthly meeting on Oct. 9 and 10 at the Main Lodge of the Oregon Gardens, 895 West Main Street, in Silverton.
The regular monthly meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Items on the commission agenda include:
- A report on the status of the Road Usage Charge program and a request to approve the authority to promote innovative approaches to carrying out the road usage charge system project; and
- An informational briefing and discussion on the implementation of Senate Bill 408 regarding access management.
Commissioners will begin their annual workshop at the same location following the formal meeting, at approximately 11:45 a.m. The workshop continues on Oct. 10.
Meetings of the OTC are open to the public and time will be available to hear public comments. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities, and alternate formats of printed material are available upon request.
