As we enter the New Year, we are seeking improvements in how we protect both confidential and proprietary customer information. You may have noticed that your federal identification number or social security number is no longer required on your tax report forms, and other changes are happening "behind the scenes," such as updating approved contacts. In order to make this effective we need current licensee contact information.

We recently mailed out a letter and forms to all fuels tax license holders, requesting the updated information by February 28, 2010.

From now on, we will only discuss confidential or proprietary information with pre-authorized persons. We can discuss general reporting/tax law questions with anyone, but sensitive information on any account will only be shared with approved contacts.
