Preparing for Narrowband Cutover
Bulletins are sent to each work zone, listed in the table below, as cutover work progresses. Each zone will receive four messages, with increasingly specific information and instructions for radio users.
Message A: Cutover begins in one month
Message B: Cutover begins in one week
Message C: Cutover begins this week
Message D: Cutover is complete; please provide feedback
The project will transition ODOT and OSP to narrowband operation in ten segments.
Zone 1: ODOT District 8, OSP Offices in Grants Pass and Central Point
Zone 2: ODOT District 7, OSP Offices in Roseburg, Coos Bay and Gold Beach
Zone 3: ODOT Districts 4 and 5, OSP Offices in Albany, Florence, Newport, Oakridge, Corvallis and Springfield
Zone 4: ODOT Districts 1 and 3, OSP Offices in Salem, Astoria, Seaside
Zone 5: ODOT Districts 2B and 2C, OSP Offices in Portland
Zone 6: ODOT Districts 9 and 12, OSP Offices in The Dalles and Pendleton
Zone 7: ODOT District 10, OSP Offices in Bend
Zone 8: ODOT District 11, OSP Offices in Klamath Falls and Lakeview
