Boardman Solar Energy Facility is a proposed solar photovoltaic energy generation facility with a peak generating capacity of 75 megawatts, located within a site boundary of approximately 798 acres of land zoned exclusive farm use.
Proposed. The Department received the preliminary Application for Site Certificate on January 13, 2017 and issued a Project Order on May 9, 2017. The Department determined that the Application for Site Certificate is complete on August 29, 2017 and the applicant submitted and filed a final Application for Site Certificate on Sept. 1, 2017. The Department will hold a public information meeting on Sept. 20, 2017 to provide the public with more information about the proposed facility and the EFSC review process (see public notice below).

The solar energy generation components of the facility would be located in Morrow County. The proposed 115-kV transmission line that would connect the energy facility to the grid would be located within Gilliam County​​. Map​
