Montague Wind Power Facility is approved to be wind energy facility with up to 262 wind turbines and a maximum capacity of 404 megawatts, located within a site boundary of approximately 33,691 acres.
Under Review/Approved: The facility has not been built. Construction of the facility began before the September 14, 2017 deadline and must be completed by September 14, 2020.

On January 9, 2018, the Department received preliminary Request for Amendment 4 (pAMD4) of the Montague Wind Power Facility Site Certificate (provided in link below). The Department is currently performing a completeness review of the pRFA, in accordance with the requirements for Type A review. Following the Department’s completeness determination, a complete version of AMD4 will be posted to the website. A public comment period will be initiated following the issuance of the Department's Draft Proposed Order (date TBD).

The pAMD4 requests Council approval for the following primary components: expansion of the site boundary to encompass approximately 13,365 acres; wind turbine relocation; and the addition of both a solar array and battery storage system to the proposed expanded site boundary.
