Notice: As of May 1, 2026, the patient phones on Anchor 1, Anchor 2, and Anchor 3 are temporarily out of service. OSH has ordered replacement parts, and expects the phones to be repaired by May 8. In the meantime, scheduled video visits are still available. Jan. 22, 2026: Oregon State Hospital maintains compliance with CMS
After making significant improvements to patient care and safety, Oregon State Hospital is in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) patient care and safety standards and is no longer at risk of losing eligibility to participate in the CMS reimbursement program.

Oregon State Hospital has maintained its accreditation with The Joint Commission after a recent review by the healthcare accrediting agency found that the hospital has successfully sustained corrective actions around practices related to falls and seclusion or restraint.
