Service Alert: Oregon Heritage, including the Oregon SHPO, is relocating to the Transportation Building at 355 Capitol St NE, Suite 130, Salem, OR 97301. Staff finished packing in August and will unpack records from September 14–30. Normal operations will gradually resume beginning in September and continue through the fall, but some services will remain slowed or suspended. Staff will not return to projects with past deadlines unless specifically requested by the sponsoring party. During this time, staff will continue issuing Archaeological Excavation Permits, managing active grants, and responding to emergencies such as disasters or inadvertent discoveries of human remains. Access to paper records will be limited through September, but most records remain available online through Oregon Heritage’s web-based databases.
