    A new network of volunteers trained in collections care and emergency management is working directly with Oregon museums, libraries and archives to improve the care of cultural artifacts and prepare for emergencies. All nonprofit and government archives, libraries and museums may access this free service.

Oregon Heritage Grants Awarded
The Oregon Heritage Commission awarded $230,000 in grants for heritage projects across the state. The Oregon Heritage Grant program will fund projects from oral history documentation to a play on food farming history.

Preservation Scholarship Application Open Now
The dealine to submit applications for the Elisabeth Walton Potter Oregon Heritage Preservation Scholarship are due December 1, 2017.  Scholarships fund a portion of travel and registration expenses for conferences and training.
