Special Grant Opportunities
Music Collections Mini-Grant: The State Library is offering small grants to Oregon libraries to purchase materials in the field of music. This grant program is supported by the Moses Fund. Applications open Oct. 1, 2026 and close Nov. 30, 2026.
Other Funding Sources
Here are some places to look for funding other than LSTA grants from the State Library.
- ALA Grants: Each year, ALA and its member units award a variety of grants to provide funding or material support for current and future activities. Grants support the planning and implementation of programs, aid in the preparation of a dissertation or other publications, and promote research in library and information sciences.
- Library Grants Blog: Timely postings of grant opportunities by author of the "Winning Library Grants" book.
- Grants & Funding Resources: Curated list from ARSL (Association for Rural & Small Libraries). Members can also sign up for a monthly Grant Opportunities Digest.
