LSTA Advisory Council

The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Advisory Council assists the State Library Board and State Library staff in carrying out the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Five-Year Oregon State Plan to better serve libraries and their communities throughout the state.

The LSTA Advisory Council typically meets three times a year online. Additional meetings may be held as needed. A press release with an agenda is issued at least 10 days before all meetings in accordance with Oregon’s open meeting laws. Each agenda has a time for public comment. All meetings are open to the public.

Advisory Council meeting documents older than 1 year are available upon request. Please contact or 503-375-2525.

The LSTA Advisory Council consists of thirteen members and is broadly representative of library entities in Oregon. Terms are for three years. Nominations to fill upcoming vacancies are solicited in early fall; interested parties may contact or 503-375-2525 for more information.
