How to Register a Pesticide Product in Oregon

Pesticide Registration

Our online registrations system, MyLicense, will be closed from October 13 through November 14, 2025. No new pesticide registration applications, revised labels, supplemental labels, or 2(ee) bulletins may be submitted online during this time. Please plan accordingly to complete your online submissions no later than October 12, 2025.

2025 pesticide product registrations expire on December 31, 2025. After this date, if ODA has not received your renewal, your registrations are no longer active. MyLicense will come back online November 17, 2025, for 2026 renewal submissions.

If necessary, applications for new product registrations for 2025 can still be submitted after October 12. However, these applications must be submitted using our paper Pesticide Product Registration (PPR) form listed below.

Revised labels, supplemental labels, and 2(ee) bulletins will not be accepted via paper or email. Registrants must submit these documents after the system comes back online.
Please see the 2026 Renewal Letter (Renovaciones 2026 y Registros de Productos Pesticidas 2025-26) for additional renewal details and a timeline for submissions to ODA during the remainder of 2025.

Registration Fee: The Pesticide Program has undergone rulemaking, and the non-refundable registration fee for 2026 is $400. The non-refundable registration fee for 2025 is $360. This fee applies to all pesticide product registrations: FIFRA Section 3, Section 24(c), and Section 25(b).

If you have an existing Pesticide Product Registration (PPR) license: Submit new product applications, revised labels, supplemental labels, and 2(ee)s through our online system, MyLicense. All revised labels, supplemental labels, and 2(ee)s must be submitted online. These will not be accepted on paper.

If you need to create a new license: At this time, a paper PPR Application Form must be submitted for initial product registrations for new companies that do not have an active Pesticide Product Registration (PPR) license in our online system. After the first product is registered, additional new products and revised labels must be submitted online through MyLicense.

Application for Special Local Need registrations: Paper applications must also be used for new FIFRA Section 24(c) Special Local Need registrations.

Annual Registration Renewal: Pesticide products need to be registered in the state of Oregon annually. Registrations expire on December 31 each year. After this date, if ODA has not received the renewal for a registered product, the registration is no longer active. Pesticide registration renewal notices will be sent by U.S. Mail in mid-November. MyLicense will remain open for PPR renewal submissions until March 31.
