Developmental Disabilities Community Engagement

The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) is always working to better support and serve individuals and families. We want to hear from the community and learn from your ideas, experiences and feedback.

This page shares different ways you can get involved and help improve our services.

 Meetings with ODDS leaders about the budget

In April and May, we hosted 18 public discussions. We heard from self-advocates, family members, support workers, partners and staff. We had conversations about what our budget priorities should be. Thank you, all who came and shared.

What happens next

We developed guiding principles from your feedback. They will guide our 2027–29 budget requests.

Everyone is welcome at these virtual meetings.

Meeting details

When: First Wednesdays of every month

Time: Noon to 1 p.m.

 Join on Zoom

You do not need to register for these meetings.

At the meeting you can: 

  • Learn about ODDS services and updates
  • Ask questions
  • Share your experiences and feedback

How to participate

You can ask questions during the meeting or send questions ahead of time using our form.

  • If you use the form, please send your questions by 8 a.m. on the Monday before the meeting.
  • The form is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Somali and Vietnamese.

If we can't answer your question during the meeting, we will reply by email afterward.

If you want a private response, you can ask us to reply by email.
