Yes. PEMS will support key business functions for state staff. This includes, but isn't limited to, automated notifications of upcoming deadlines, workflow management and communication between state staff and providers.

Yes. PEMS forms will have customizable options to prompt users to include additional information or answer more questions when appropriate.
PEMS will support robust reporting capabilities. Reports will be easily customizable to ensure accurate, complete and appropriate data is available to respond to all data requests.
Yes, providers will be able to log into their account to view relevant information including application status and provider updates.
Training and technical assistance
Learning opportunities will include online courses you do at your own pace. There will be live virtual and in-person sessions you can sign up for. You will also have access to tutorial videos and visual reference guides.
The time it takes to learn the system depends on your role and how familiar you are with similar tools. You will be able to choose the learning options that work for your schedule.
Privacy and security
Your privacy matters. ODDS will take careful steps to keep the information in our system safe. We will use strong protections like secure technology, and clear rules for staff to make sure your information stays private and accurate.
We also follow state and federal laws including HIPAA. These rules guide how we handle information and who can see it. Our goal is to ensure your information is protected and used only to support the services you receive.

Change Champion network
During times of change, clear and effective communication is vital.
The Change Champion network includes ODHS and OHA staff and providers, case management groups and other project partners, including representatives from each county in Oregon. These champions support the project and encourage everyone to use the new system. They:
- Learn about the project and share information with colleagues
- Promote the project both inside and outside of their organizations
- Identify issues and risks in their teams and agencies
- Gather feedback and give it to the project team
- Help manage resistance to change among their peers
- Serve as a contact for their organization
