Certified adult resource parents and relative resource parents need to complete 30 hours of training during each two year certification period.
Develop your certification renewal training plan with your certifier
Together with your certifier, you will develop a two-year training plan based on your interests and training needs of children you are caring for or may care for in the future.
You can take your training through a variety of ways including:

A maximum of 12 credited training hours for any 24 month period can be awarded for attending support group related activities or meetings as follows:
Live/online scheduled training
A variety of live, online training sessions coordinated by ODHS Child Welfare. Registration is required.
