Oregon 99: Rapp Road to Ashland City Limits

This project modifies existing Oregon 99 lanes as well as upgrades the highway with new pavement and, depending on the section, new curb, gutter, sidewalk and bike lanes and defined (access controlled) driveways.

Week of September 24, KRM is performing final paving in the Rapp to Creel section and throughout the project to complete top lift paving by ODOT's deadline of September 30.
This is a single season project for contractor Knife River Materials. 
KRM's scheduled shows:
Between Rapp Road and Creel Road, expect single lane traffic in middle of road for most of the project.
Final paving and final striping between Rapp to Creel Roads in September
One inch grind inlay paving and striping from south of Creel to Ashland city limits is complete.  The paving elimiated the recessed pavement markers. Striping for the various improvements still to be scheduled..
Business access will remain open during this work.

Additional Information

​It modifies the existing highway at three distinct sections - each with bike lanes on both sides:

Rapp Rd. to Creel Rd.: three lane section with center turn lane, bike lane and sidewalks.

Creel Rd. to Talent Ave.: three lane section with center turn lane and bike lanes.

From Talent Ave. to South Valley View Rd.:  one lane southbound and two lanes northbound.  Northbound left turn refuge onto Talent Ave.

South Valley View Rd. to Jackson Rd.: five lane section with bike lanes on each side.

Jackson Rd. to Ashland City Limits: three lane section with center turn lane and bike lanes. This will match with Ashland’s existing North Main St. configuration.
