The existing culvert will be replaced with a single span bridge, which will help with the recovery of salmon.

None at this time. When work starts again you can expect some single lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic.

Construction Activities

None at this time. When work starts again, we'll finish applying permanent striping and planting vegetation.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

About

The project includes replacing the existing culvert with a single span concrete deck bridge. The new bridge will create an easier passage for native migratory fish like salmon and steelhead, some of which are listed as endangered species. Improving fish passages aligns with our commitment to the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds.

Project Details:

Remove the old culvert.

Install a new single span bridge.

Reconstruct the streambed to encourage native fish migration.

During construction expect noise and short delays. We will maintain two lanes of traffic during construction.
