About

The OR 58 corridor is a lifeline route between the southern Willamette Valley (I-5) and Central Oregon (U.S. 97). There are several projects underway to explore how to help keep critical services accessible. This project identified 54 culverts needing repair or replacement because they are in poor or critical condition. The culverts are being reviewed to see if sizes need to be increased to address water flow or fish passage.

The shallow culverts will require digging trenches through the road and the deeper culverts will be replaced by drilling under the road.

This project is being developed by Western Federal Lands a division of the Federal Highway Administration.
