About

enlarged project map iconThe Skipanon River Bridge was built in 1929. It was in poor condition and needed maintenance and repairs. This is an important bridge for residents to get to and from schools, recreational areas and nearby stores.

Some emergency services and other heavy vehicles couldn't use the bridge since it was weight restricted.

We replaced the center portion. By making this repair, some heavier vehicles can use it again. This work also helps keep the bridge in use for years to come.
