Traffic Impact

Online Open House

There will be intermittent lane closures, delays and reduced speed in the work zone.

Construction Impacts

Plan ahead – some of our work will require lane closures and detours!

detour map during Perkins Lane closureWe're working in the far right lane of northbound U.S. 101 and will close Perkins Lane at the intersection.

During this time, northbound traffic on U.S. 101 will share one lane so expect delays. You can get around the closure by taking the detour on U.S. 101, SE Dolphin Road and Perkins Lane.

Afterwards we’ll start constructing the concrete median on U.S. 101 at the intersection.

During this time you will not be able to turn left onto or off of U.S. 101, OR 104 or Perkins Lane. You can use the detour route to get around the area by taking U.S 101 and Fort Stevens Highway Spur.

U.S. 101 and OR 104 intersection after constructionThe intersection of U.S. 101 and Perkins Lane in Warrenton has frequent and severe crashes, most of which are caused by cars turning.

To reduce the potential and severity of the crashes, we are constructing safety improvements including:

  • Installing a left turn lane.

  • Installing a concrete separator.

Take a look at what the intersection will look like after construction.
