View enlarged mapThe stretch of OR 99 through Cottage Grove connects homes to shopping and services. The road was in need of repair and needed improved pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

To improve safety and traffic flow, we:

  • Change the road to one lane in each direction with a center turn lane.

  • Built new sidewalks and bike lanes to current ADA standards. visit our interactive project map

  • Installed a crosswalk with a rapid flashing beacon.

  • Replaced the signal at the Woodson Place intersection.

  • Repaved the road.

Take a look at our interactive project map to learn more about the improvements we are making in Cottage Grove!

When we design these safety improvements, we worked with Cottage Grove city staff, property owners and businesses to limit impacts.
