About

The historic westbound bridge over the Willamette River on OR 126 is need of repair. Repairs made now will help to preserve and extend the service life of the bridge, avoiding the need for more critical repairs in the future.

This project will:
  • Strengthen the bridge where necessary.
  • Construct a work containment structure to capture any debris from construction activities.
  • Prepare the steel for painting and apply a new paint system.
Work will be done in stages so that a single travel lane and  pedestrian walkway can be maintained during construction. Construction will not interfere with river activities.
