I-84 Frontage Road: Meacham Creek and Union Pacific Railroad Bridge Replacement

Old Emigrant Hill Frontage Road between Exit 238 and Meacham is now open.

Meetings and Events

We held an in-person open house on July 26, 2022, at the ODOT Meacham Maintenance Station. ​
We also held an online open house July 18-31, 2022.

About

Enlarged project map.​The Meacham and Union Pacific Railroad Bridge was constructed in 1925. Extensive deterioration, increasing maintenance costs and potential safety concerns require the bridge to be replaced.

I-84 |

​Milepost 239.45, on I-84 (Emigrant Hill Frontage Road), near Meacham. Project limits: milepost 239.33 to 239.64.

Cost and Funding

This project is estimated to cost $9.6 million.​​
