Impacts

Traffic Impact

You can expect crews working during the weekdays with lane closures and flaggers directing traffic as needed.

Construction Impacts

You can expect:

  • Crews working during the day, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Lane closures as needed with flaggers directing traffic.
  • Construction noise – using saws to cut concrete can be loud and dusty.
  • Delays. 

Construction Activities

We're creating a safer route for pedestrians and bicyclists to travel through the area.

​Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones. ​

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers. 

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

About

Enlarged project mapVerda Lane is a route used by both elementary and middle school students.

We will:

  • Construct bicycle lanes.
  • Build sidewalks.
  • ​Realign intersections.
  • Upgrade drainage.
  • Formalize driveway accesses.

This will create safe routes for pedestrians and bicyclists along Verda Lane.
