U.S. 101 Culvert Replacements

Construction Phase

Region 2: Willamette Valley and Northwest Oregon (Various Cities, Lincoln, Tillamook)


​​​​​​We're repairing and replacing culverts along U.S. 101 between Tillamook and Newport.​

When construction starts, you can expect:

  • Shoulder and lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.
  • Construction noise and delays.

About

Culverts help minimize flooding by allowing water to flow under the highway.​ ​​There are many culverts along U.S. 101 between mileposts 75.3 to 129.1 that need to be repaired or replaced. 

We're planning to repair or replace some of the culverts along the project area. 

When construction starts as early as February 2026, you can expect:

  • Single lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.
  • Delays and construction noise.
