About

U.S. 26 is a major tourist route from Portland to the Seaside and Cannon Beach areas of the coast. This is also a freight route for the north coast area as well as an important regional route.

The section of roadway between Necanicum Junction at OR 53 to the Nehalem River Bridge is in poor condition.  We will repave the highway, install new striping, signage and stormwater treatment. We will also install new guardrail and modify the existing bridge rails.

There will be lanes closures, expect delays. Work can be done during the day or night, the details will be determined after the contract is awarded.

Once construction begins, TripCheck.com will have the most up to date information about impacts.
