Traffic Impact

Expect shoulder and lane closures as needed.

Construction Impacts

Paving is complete. We are working on ADA curb ramps and other finishing items to complete the project.

Construction Activities

We are working on the curb ramps and when the weather is warmer we will install the permanent striping.

Visit TripCheck for the most current traffic information.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around the work zone.

OR 99 will be repaved between 1st Avenue (milepost 109.63) and Enid Road (milepost 116.74), from Junction City to Eugene. The current pavement is deteriorating and the surface layer will be replaced to extend the roads useful life. The new surface will provide travelers with a smoother ride and address safety concerns.

Work will include:

  • Paving highway between milepost 109.65 and 116.70.
  • Installing centerline rumble strips.
  • Upgrading curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
  • Upgrading pedestrian signals as necessary.
  • Replacing Junction City's weigh in motion system, used to capture truck traffic data without affecting traffic flow.
