About

Enlarged project mapThe driving surface in this area of OR 22 is breaking apart and cracking. Our maintenance crews are having to do more frequent repairs and patching to keep the road usable. This creates a bumpy and sometimes uncomfortable ride and increases the cost of maintenance.

To create a smoother ride, we're:

  • Repairing the driving surface and applying new pavement.
  • Painting new striping.
  • Installing rumble strips in the center of the road. This will create sound and vibration, alerting drivers they're crossing into oncoming traffic.
