About

Enlarged project mapThis is an important statewide route and the  pavement in this section was quickly getting worse. The road surface was breaking apart and cracking. Our maintenance crews had to do more frequent repairs and patching to keep the road usable.

With this project, we removed the top layer of the road surface and replaced it with a brand new layer of asphalt to restore the structural strength of the roadway. We also made some bridge and guardrail repairs and will applied new striping.

This created a smoother ride for drivers and will reduce future maintenance cost.
