OR 126: Linn County Line to Old McKenzie Highway Paving

Construction Phase

Region 2: Willamette Valley and Northwest Oregon (Lane)

​​​​​​​​​​We're repaving a section of OR 126 that is in poor condition.​

​None at t​his time. We plan to start construction later this year. When work starts you can expect construction noise and delays.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

​view the enlarged project mapThis section of OR 126 is a snow zone and the current pavement is cracking and needs to be replaced. The pavement is in poor condition and has required our maintenance crew to apply patches more frequently to hold this section together. There are three bridges in this section that also need to be resurfaced. 

We will: 

  • Remove the existing pavement. 

  • Repave.

  • Apply permanent striping. 

  • Adjust or replace guardrail.

  • Resurface the bridges.

​By repaving, we're creating a smoother ride and preserving the road and bridges so more costly repairs are not needed in the future.

  • View the archived online open house that was open from Jul. 12 - 31, 2023.

  • We held an in-person open house on Thursday, Jul. 13 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the McKenzie Fire & Rescue Station.​
