About
The pavement in this section of U.S. 101 was in poor condition and needed to be replaced.
For this project, we:
- Repaved the road.
- This helps reduce maintenance costs and gives you a smoother ride.
- Installed new striping and rumble strips.
- Striping helps clearly define each travel lane. Rumble strips provide noise and vibration to alert a driver when they’re leaving their lane.
- Built ADA curb ramps at SE 40th Street.
- These curb ramps help make it easier for everyone to move between the curb and road, whether you have a disability or not.
