About

Enlarged Project Area MapThe pavement in this section of U.S. 101 was in poor condition and needed to be replaced.

For this project, we:

  • Repaved the road.
    • This helps reduce maintenance costs and gives you a smoother ride.
  • Installed new striping and rumble strips.
    • Striping helps clearly define each travel lane. Rumble strips provide noise and vibration to alert a driver when they’re leaving their lane.
  • Built ADA curb ramps at SE 40th Street.
    • These curb ramps help make it easier for everyone to move between the curb and road, whether you have a disability or not.
