About

Enlarged project mapWith this project, we are:

  • Designing and constructing a roundabout at the OR 22 and Kings Valley Highway intersection.
  • Straightening Perrydale Road south of the intersection with OR 22 to make it easier for drivers to see oncoming traffic.

We plan to realign a section of Perrydale Road north of OR 22 to route traffic through the roundabout in the future when we have funding.

Roundabouts are a safer and more efficient type of intersection. They:

  • Eliminate some of the conflict points where crashes can occur.
  • Reduce the number of crashes that result in injuries.
  • Increase fuel efficiency due to reduced stops.
