About
For this project, we:
- Installed improved overhead guide signs for Marion Street Bridge.
- Installed overhead lane use signs where appropriate in the project area.
- Upgraded curb ramps to meet current ADA standards in the project area.
- Added traffic separators between Division Street NE and Union Street NE.
- Added bike lane striping on Commercial Street from D Street to Union Street.
- Upgraded striping and road markings as needed.
New striping, road markings, overhead lane use and guide signs help make it easier for drivers to be in the correct lane to get to where they need to go. Dedicated bicycle lanes give both cars and bikes their own defined space to move safely through the area. ADA curb ramps make it easier to move between the sidewalk and road – benefiting all users, whether you have a disability or not.
