OR 164: Jefferson (Santiam River) Bridge

view enlarged project mapWe built the Santiam River Bridge in 1933. This bridge is essential for local traffic and acts as a bypass during closures on I-5.​

As part of repairing and strengthening the bridge, we: 

  • Removed the existing pavement from the bridge surface. 
  • Repaved and applied new striping. 
  • Strengthened the arch beams and the supports under the driving surface. 
  • Repaired damaged concrete.
