OR 6: Devils Lake Fork Wilson River Bridge

​​​​​​​​​​We're making structural upgrades and repairs to preserve the bridge.​

​Expect crews working during the day and single lane closures with an automated flagging assistant device to control traffic through the work zone. Drive with caution and watch for workers. 

Construction Impacts

  • Crews working during the day.
  • Single lane closures with an automated flagging assistant device to control traffic through the work zone between:
    • 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
    • 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.
  • Most of the work to be under the bridge.
  • Construction noise and delays.
  • The bridge to be weight-restricted for the duration of the project.

Construction Activities

We're making repairs to strengthen and preserve the bridge. ​

​Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones. ​

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not. ​​​

enlarged project map iconWe're working on the Devils Lake Fork Bridge that crosses the Wilson River on OR 6. This bridge is on an important tourist and freight route between the Portland area and the coast.

We are: 

  • ​Removing the rust.
  • Replacing worn out or damaged bolts and rivets as needed. 
  • Applying a new layer of paint to help preserve the bridge.
