OR 126: Blue River & Fish Hole Bridges

Region 2: Willamette Valley and Northwest Oregon (Lane)

​​​​​​We're designing a project to resurface the Fish Hole Bridge and Blue River Bridge for a smoother surface for drivers and reduce maintenance costs.​

​Use caution, there are two work zones with automated flaggers directing traffic and 24/7 single lane closures.

You can expect:

  • 24/7 single lane closures for the duration of construction.
  • Hard barriers to help define the lane.
  • Two work zones with automated flaggers directing traffic.
  • Construction noise and delays.

view the enlarged project map​West of the town of Blue River on OR 126, the surface of two bridges are in bad condition resulting in a rough ride. 

We’re designing a project to restore the surfaces of the bridges before they get worse. 

We are:

  • Removing and replacing the driving surface. 

  • Providing a smoother surface for drivers.

  • Upgrading guardrail.

​During construction, traffic will be controlled by temporary signals to help keep travelers and our construction crew safe. 

Past Meetings and Events

  • View the archived online open house that was open from Jul. 12 - 31, 2023.

  • We held an in-person open house on Thursday, Jul. 13, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the McKenzie Fire & Rescue Station.
