Cost and Funding

$1.7 million

Contractor

K&E Excavating

Benefits

ODOT is responsible for the maintenance of these culverts as key infrastructure for U.S. 20. The culverts manage surface water flows near the roadway. Maintenance and repairs to the culverts extend the life of the roadway system and increase safety for travelers.

What Problem Will This Improve?

Repairs will address things such as rust, barrel damage, and open joints. A failed culvert can cause safety hazards for travelers and damage the overlaying road pavement.
