About
We're making safety improvements to Bellfountain Road between Chapel Drive and Alpine Road.
As part of this project, we're:
- Installing rumble strips from milepoint 1.4 to 12.9 and from 14.9 to 15.7.
- Restriping the road.
- Adding intersection warning aids.
The intersection warning aids could include:
- Installing new street signs.
- Replacing current stop signs with larger signs.
- Installing reflective sign posts.
- Adding reflective backplates to the overhead and mounted traffic signals or flashing lights.
These safety improvements make the road safer and easier for drivers to see upcoming intersections. Signs and new striping will help drivers stay in their lane.
