Construction Impacts

When construction starts, you can expect:

Lane and shoulder closures as needed.
Construction noise and delays.

Construction Activities

We plan to start construction in late 2026 or in 2027.

Visit TripCheck for the most current traffic information.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

enlarged project map icon The intersection between OR 6 and Wilson River Loop East has poor visibility when turning right or left. This has caused fatal and serious injury crashes.

We're planning to:

Widen and build a buffered right-turn lane.
Install new signs.

Our goal is that these improvements will help make the intersection safer, reducing fatal and serious injury crashes.

We're planning to build and will have a better idea about the schedule and construction cost as we get further into design.
