About
A wrong way driving crash is when a vehicle travels in the opposite direction of traffic. High speeds and the likelihood of head-on crashes makes these more severe.
We're looking at how people access interchanges and upgrading exit ramps to help reduce the number of wrong way drivers and crashes.
These safety upgrades include:
- Increasing the number of signs.
- Installing bigger and more reflective signs.
- Repainting the reflective road striping.
Fewer wrong way drivers improves safety and reduce delays on I-5 and OR 569.
