This project will install 24 Dynamic Speed Feedback signs on eight roads in Deschutes County to decrease speeding and improve safety in rural areas.

The Deschutes County's 2019 Transportation System Action Plan identified high speeds as a key trend in road user behavior. 42% of fatal crashes throughout the County are because of high speeds. Dynamic Speed Feedback signs are a cost effective way to reduce driver speeds on rural roadways.
