Traffic Impact

​4/13-4/17: Crews will begin work on Alfalfa Market Road where they will be working on the shoulder installing sign footings. No delays are expected.

About

​This project will install 24 Dynamic Speed Feedback signs on eight roads in Deschutes County to decrease speeding and improve safety in rural areas.

Additional Information

​The Deschutes County's 2019 Transportation System Action Plan identified high speeds as a key trend in road user behavior. 42% of fatal crashes throughout the County are because of high speeds. Dynamic Speed Feedback signs are a cost effective way to reduce driver speeds on rural roadways. ​​
